Your photographs are the bread crumbs to your past, without them how will you find your way back home...DLG
I am happy to report that my list of favorite photographs that I've taken is growing. It's a testament that shows me in living color that I'm being conscientious about taking the shot and then doing something with the photograph on the other side of the lens. That said, of all the photographs I have taken through the years not many of them are actually worthy of sharing. Once I review just a day of my gallivanting behind the lens on a big screen I discover, sadly, many are not as good as I thought they would be. Either they are too light, too dark, out of focus, any number of things. However, there are still quite a few that I am very proud of, love to share, and are worthy of printing. Sharing and printing being the operative words. It is the one piece of advise I can give to anyone out there stepping out to view their world behind whatever kind of lens they happen to have on hand at the time. SHARE those photos (and not just on Facebook) AND PRINT your BEST ones! Print them in a book, hang them in a frame, put them in an album, at least PRINT. Your future self will, one day, want to look back on January 1999 or April 2018 and ENJOY what life was like for you back then. JUST DO IT. You will thank yourself (and maybe me) for it.
Just a few of my favorite things to photograph.
