I am happy to report that the list of favorite photographs taken by me is growing. It's a testament in living color that I am conscientious about taking the shot and then doing something with the photograph on the other side of the lens. That said, of all the photographs I have taken through the years not many of them are worthy of sharing. Once I review just a day of my gallivanting behind the lens on a big screen I discover, sadly, many are not as good as I thought they would be. Either they are too light, too dark, out of focus, any number of things. However, with a little editing there are quite a few I am proud of, love to share and are worthy of printing. The one piece of advise I can give to anyone stepping out to view their world behind whatever kind of lens they happen to have at the time would be: SHARE those photos (not just on Facebook) AND PRINT your BEST ones! Print them in a book, hang them in a frame, put them in an album, at least PRINT. Your future self will, one day, want to look back on today and ENJOY what life was like for you on this day, any day. JUST DO IT. You will thank yourself (and maybe me) for it.
